About Me

"Some succeed because they are destined to, but most succeed because they are determined to."
What Motivates Me:
I am often asked why I enjoy working with adolescents, particularly those with attentional and behaviorial challenges. My responses are as complex as the students themselves. I love the way their minds work, darting from one idea to another. I am intrigued by their challenges and their desire to succeed in the face of social, emotional, psychological, and academic demands. I revel in exploring and inventing strategies with them that create real, positive changes. Finally, these remarkable people encourage me to be the best person that I can be. They are my teachers.
